SharpLink Gaming Acquires 176,271 ETH for $462.9 Million, JOPE Miner Responds 

SharpLink Gaming, Inc. (NASDAQ: SBET) (hereinafter referred to as "SharpLink" or "the Company") announced today that it has successfully acquired 176,270.69 Ether (ETH) for a total purchase price of $462,947,816 (inclusive of fees and expenses), making SharpLink the largest publicly held ETH holder globally, second only to the Ethereum Foundation. This transaction marks a bold move by the company in the realm of cryptocurrency assets.

Not only did SharpLink secure financing through its initial PIPE transaction on May 26, 2025, but it also successfully raised approximately $79 million using its at-the-market (ATM) financing tools. Since June 2, 2025, the company has been actively purchasing ETH, driving the per-share value of ETH up by 11.8%. As of June 13, 2025, over 95% of the ETH held by SharpLink has been actively deployed in staking and liquidity staking solutions, contributing to the security of the Ethereum network while generating native revenue for the company.
